  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • optional Fresh herbs (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Cooking
  1. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden.
  2. Drizzle the chicken with hot honey and add a tablespoon of butter on top.
  3. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serving
  1. Once out of the oven, sprinkle fresh herbs as desired, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

For substitutions, you can use boneless chicken breasts or spiced tofu for a vegetarian option. Do not overcrowd the pan when searing.
