Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
Cream Cheese Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Toppings
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • whipped cream (optional) for topping
  • chocolate shavings (optional) for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Make Brownie Batter
  1. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir until just combined; do not overmix.
Make Cream Cheese Layer
  1. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  2. Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top and swirl it with a knife to create marbled patterns.
  3. Drizzle hot fudge sauce over the top and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly underbaked.
  5. Cool before cutting into squares and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. For freezing, wrap each piece in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months.
