- Pop the popcorn kernels using an air popper or stovetop method. If using the stove, heat a tablespoon of oil in a large pot, add the kernels, and cover it until they pop. Once done, set it aside in a large mixing bowl.
- In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Stir in the honey and ground cinnamon until combined.
- Pour the honey-cinnamon mixture over the popped popcorn and toss until everything is coated evenly. Be careful as the mixture will be hot!
- Sprinkle salt to taste and give it one last mix to ensure a uniform flavor throughout.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy your sweet and delicious Honey Cinnamon Butter Popcorn!
Notes
This popcorn is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Avoid refrigerating to keep it crisp. Reheating is not recommended as it affects texture.
