  • 1 cup brewed coffee Strong and freshly brewed
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) Choose your preferred type
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree Use pure pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice Add more if desired
  • to taste whipped cream Optional for serving
  • to taste cinnamon For garnish, optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew a strong cup of your favorite coffee using a drip coffee maker, French press, or espresso machine.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, pour in your milk. Stir occasionally until steaming but not boiling.
  3. Add pumpkin puree and sugar to the heated milk. Stir well to combine until smooth. For a smoother texture, blend the mixture.
  4. Stir in the pumpkin pie spice to the pumpkin and milk mixture.
  5. In your favorite mug, pour the brewed coffee first, then carefully add the pumpkin mixture and stir gently.
  6. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Experiment with different milk types and spices based on your preference. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days; reheat on low to preserve flavor.
