Herb Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation
  1. Start by popping your popcorn kernels. You can do this in an air popper, on the stovetop, or in the microwave. If using the stovetop, heat a few tablespoons of oil in a large pot, add the kernels, cover, and shake occasionally until the popping slows. Set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn!
Mixing
  1. Once the butter is melted, stir in the chopped rosemary, thyme, parsley, garlic powder, and salt. Let the herb mixture simmer for a minute or two, allowing the flavors to infuse.
  2. In a large bowl, pour the freshly popped popcorn, then drizzle the savory herb butter mixture over the top. Toss gently with a large spoon until the popcorn is evenly coated.
