Cooking

- Add the Halal Italian sausage and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 7-9 minutes.
- Once the sausage is cooked, add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the gnocchi and cook according to the package instructions until they float, typically around 2-3 minutes.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked gnocchi to the skillet with the sausage and garlic, and gently mix in the green peas.
- If desired, add a splash of the gnocchi cooking water for added creaminess.
Finishing
