  • 2 pounds chicken wings Fresh or frozen, thawed before use
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
  2. While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add in the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but do not burn it.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the garlic Parmesan sauce until they are thoroughly coated.
Serving
  1. Transfer the coated wings to a serving platter, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use clarified butter. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
