Topping
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crispiness)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (fresh is best!)
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (like oregano and basil)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with melted butter and lemon juice. Mix well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated.
Topping
  1. In another bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.
Coating and Baking
  1. Take each shrimp and dip it into the breadcrumb mixture, making sure to cover it thoroughly.
  2. Place the coated shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Once all shrimp are on the baking sheet, bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the shrimp are cooked through and the topping is golden and crispy.
Serving
  1. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
