Ingredients

For the Steak Bites
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye, cut into bite-sized pieces) Opt for Halal-certified cuts for the best results.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Ensure it's Halal certified.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting your steak into bite-sized pieces. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Searing the Steak
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once hot, add the steak pieces, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. Sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Garlic Butter
  1. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter, along with the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Preparing the Cream Sauce
  1. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into a smooth sauce. Keep stirring until it thickens slightly.
Combining and Serving
  1. Return the steak bites to the skillet, allowing them to soak in the creamy sauce for a minute or two. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze steak bites separately from the sauce for up to 2 months. Reheat gently, adding a splash of cream to revive the texture.
