Method
Preparation
- Start by cutting your steak into bite-sized pieces. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Searing the Steak
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once hot, add the steak pieces, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. Sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Garlic Butter
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter, along with the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Preparing the Cream Sauce
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into a smooth sauce. Keep stirring until it thickens slightly.
Combining and Serving
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, allowing them to soak in the creamy sauce for a minute or two. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze steak bites separately from the sauce for up to 2 months. Reheat gently, adding a splash of cream to revive the texture.
