Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound steak (cubed) Opt for tender cuts like sirloin or ribeye.
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) Adds flavor to the dish.
  • 1 pound baby potatoes (halved) Can be substituted with red or sweet potatoes.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • for garnish Fresh parsley Adds color and freshness to the dish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cubing your steak into bite-sized pieces. Ensure your baby potatoes are halved for even cooking.
  2. Season the cubed steak generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the halved baby potatoes, cut side down, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown, turning occasionally.
  3. Once the potatoes are golden, push them to one side of the skillet. Add the remaining butter to the empty side and let it melt.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the seasoned steak pieces to the skillet. Sear them for about 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the steak bites. Cook for another minute until the garlic is fragrant.
  6. Toss everything together and let the flavors meld for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!
