Preparation
- Start by cubing your steak into bite-sized pieces. Ensure your baby potatoes are halved for even cooking.
- Season the cubed steak generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the halved baby potatoes, cut side down, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown, turning occasionally.
- Once the potatoes are golden, push them to one side of the skillet. Add the remaining butter to the empty side and let it melt.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the seasoned steak pieces to the skillet. Sear them for about 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the steak bites. Cook for another minute until the garlic is fragrant.
- Toss everything together and let the flavors meld for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a little extra butter or oil as necessary.
