  • 1 package 16.5 oz pre-made sugar cookie dough You can also make a simple sugar cookie from scratch.
For the Frosting
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened Use Halal-friendly cream cheese for dietary needs.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Toppings
  • Assorted fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, bananas) Get creative with your fruit selection.
  • 1/4 cup fruit jelly or glaze (optional) Adds shine to the fruits.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the sugar cookie dough evenly onto a pizza pan, forming a circle or rectangle.
  3. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  5. Once the cookie base has cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting generously over the entire surface.
  6. Arrange your assorted fresh fruits beautifully on top of the frosted cookie.
  7. If desired, brush a light layer of fruit jelly or glaze over the fruits.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or in an airtight container. Best enjoyed within 3-4 days. Avoid freezing as it may change the texture of the fruits.
