Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • ¾ cup milk (or plant-based alternative)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well mixed.
  2. Pour in the milk and olive oil. Stir until the dough begins to come together.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for about 2-3 minutes, or until it becomes smooth.
  4. Form the dough into a rounded loaf, making sure it fits comfortably into your air fryer basket.
  5. Set your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.
  6. Place the loaf inside the air fryer and cook for 15-18 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Once done, carefully remove the bread from the air fryer and let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

If you have some leftover bread, store it in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze slices and reheat in the air fryer or toaster oven for fresh taste.
