Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Cut the bread into cubes.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Add the cubed bread to the egg mixture, stirring gently to ensure all pieces are coated. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
Baking
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Notes
Store leftover French Toast Bake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
