Ingredients

For the Sliders
  • 12 pieces mini slider buns (or any soft bread rolls)
  • 1 pound thinly sliced halal roast beef
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth recommended
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt a little butter over medium heat and add the sliced onions. Cook them until they are soft and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. While the onions are cooking, slice the slider buns in half and place the bottoms in a baking dish, cut side up.
  4. On the bottom half of each bun, layer a slice of roast beef followed by a slice of Swiss cheese. Top with the caramelized onions and then place the tops on the sliders.
  5. Melt the remaining butter and brush it over the tops of the sliders for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  7. While the sliders are baking, heat the beef broth in a small saucepan until warm.
  8. Once out of the oven, serve the sliders warm alongside the warm beef broth for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize your sliders with add-ons like sautéed onions or a dash of horseradish for extra flavor. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven wrapped in foil to prevent drying out.
