Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the bread for added flavor and crispiness.
- Spread marinara sauce generously over each half of the bread.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Add diced bell peppers, sliced olives, and red onion.
- Sprinkle dried oregano and basil on top.
Cooking
- Bake in the oven for about 10–12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
Experiment with toppings to personalize your pizza. For a crunchier base, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
