  • 1 loaf French bread Choose quality, fresh bread.
  • 1 cup pizza sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Adjust based on preference.
Optional Toppings
  • sliced veggies (bell peppers, onions, mushrooms) Customize with your choice of toppings.
  • olives

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place the halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  3. Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on each side of the French bread.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  5. Add your favorite toppings over the cheese.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice into pieces and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 5-10 minutes.
