Sandwich Ingredients
  • 3 slices slices of your favorite bread (whole grain, sourdough, or white) Choose your preferred type of bread.
  • 3-4 slices deli turkey breast (ensure it's halal-certified) Adjust amount based on preference.
  • 1/2 whole ripe avocado, sliced Ensure the avocado is ripe for optimal creaminess.
  • 2-3 leaves of lettuce (romaine or iceberg for extra crunch) Use your favorite lettuce.
  • 2 slices of tomato Fresh tomatoes for the best flavor.
  • to taste none Mayonnaise Spread on bread for flavor.
  • to taste none Salt and pepper Season to enhance flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toast the three slices of bread until they are golden brown.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  3. Layer two or three lettuce leaves on the first slice of mayo-covered bread.
  4. Add the turkey slices evenly on top of the lettuce.
  5. Place the sliced avocado on top of the turkey.
  6. Add the tomato slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Place the second slice of bread mayo-side down on top of the tomato and repeat the layering process.
  8. Finish with the third slice of bread mayo-side down to close the sandwich.
  9. Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters and serve.

Notes

Store uneaten portions in the refrigerator wrapped tightly in plastic wrap for up to 2 days. For the best flavor, enjoy on the same day.
