Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.
- Place the cut sausages on one side of a large baking sheet. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion on the other side.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Drizzle this blend over the sausage and veggies.
- Use your hands or a spatula to mix everything together on the sheet pan.
Cooking
- Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and roast for about 30-35 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through and the vegetables are tender and caramelized.
- Turn the sausages halfway through cooking for even browning.
Serving
- Once done, take the pan out and let it cool for a few minutes. Then serve it warm.
Notes
For substitutions, try different types of Halal sausages like lamb or turkey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for up to three months.
