Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 1 pound Halal chicken or beef sausages
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
For seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.
  3. Place the cut sausages on one side of a large baking sheet. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion on the other side.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Drizzle this blend over the sausage and veggies.
  5. Use your hands or a spatula to mix everything together on the sheet pan.
Cooking
  1. Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and roast for about 30-35 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through and the vegetables are tender and caramelized.
  2. Turn the sausages halfway through cooking for even browning.
Serving
  1. Once done, take the pan out and let it cool for a few minutes. Then serve it warm.

Notes

For substitutions, try different types of Halal sausages like lamb or turkey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for up to three months.
