Preparation
  1. Measure out your cooked pinto beans, olive oil, chopped onion, minced garlic, and spices ahead of time to streamline your cooking process.
Cooking
  1. In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the cooked pinto beans into your skillet with the sautéed garlic and onions.
  4. Sprinkle in the ground cumin, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Mash the mixture to your desired consistency while cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.
Serving

Notes
