  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Coating
  • 1/4 cup crushed pistachios

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Cut your bread slices into quarters to create sticks.
Coating
  1. Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, allowing them to soak for a few seconds.
  2. Roll the bread sticks in the crushed pistachios to coat evenly.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
  2. Place the pistachio-coated bread sticks on the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat, serve warm, and drizzle generously with maple syrup.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. To reheat, use an oven preheated to 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes or toast them.
