Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage, almond flour, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and egg.
- Use your hands to mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the consistency is slightly sticky but manageable.
- Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball, aiming for around 1 inch in diameter.
Baking
- Place the balls spaced apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For best results, use Halal-certified sausage. You can customize the flavors by adding spices like smoked paprika or Italian herbs. Do not overmix the ingredients to keep the balls tender.
