  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage, almond flour, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and egg.
  3. Use your hands to mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the consistency is slightly sticky but manageable.
  4. Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball, aiming for around 1 inch in diameter.
Baking
  1. Place the balls spaced apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.

For best results, use Halal-certified sausage. You can customize the flavors by adding spices like smoked paprika or Italian herbs. Do not overmix the ingredients to keep the balls tender.
