Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 15 oz each sliced peaches in juice or light syrup (undrained)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix about 15 oz
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving, optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish lightly with butter or nonstick spray.
  3. Pour the canned peaches (with juice) evenly into the dish.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches – do not stir.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
  6. If desired, sprinkle with cinnamon for extra flavor.
  7. Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra richness, use peaches in heavy syrup instead of juice.
You can swap yellow cake mix for white or spice cake mix.
Delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
