  • 1 package 1 package of gnocchi (approximately 16 ounces)
  • 1 cup 1 cup frozen peas Add at the end of cooking
  • 1 pound 1 pound halal sausage (Italian or your preferred variety) Break apart while cooking
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing
  • 1 1 onion, chopped For flavor base
  • 2 cloves 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor base
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving Add on top before serving

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Chop your onion and mince your garlic.
Cooking
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the halal sausage, breaking it up as it cooks until browned and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes).
  3. Toss in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and fragrant (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Gently stir in the gnocchi and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the frozen peas and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything and cook until heated through (about 3-4 minutes).
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, use halal meat alternatives or chickpeas. Ensure to prep all ingredients before cooking to save time and avoid overcooking the gnocchi.
