  • to taste maple syrup For drizzling
  • to taste powdered sugar For dusting

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your waffle iron on medium heat.
  2. Open the package of flaky croissants and gently unroll them.
  3. Lightly coat the waffle iron with cooking spray.
  4. Place one croissant or half (cut side facing down) onto the preheated waffle iron.
  5. Close the lid and cook for approximately 5-7 minutes until golden-brown.
  6. Check for doneness: open the waffle iron to see if they've reached your desired crispiness.
  7. Carefully remove the croffles using a fork.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar and top with whipped cream and maple syrup.
  9. Serve and enjoy with family and friends!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the waffle iron or toaster oven.
