Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat it with cooking spray or olive oil.
- In three separate bowls, set up your dipping stations with flour mixed with salt and pepper, whisked eggs, and breadcrumbs combined with paprika and garlic powder.
- Cut fish fillets into 1-inch wide strips.
- Coat each fish strip in flour, dip into egg wash, and then coat in the breadcrumb mixture. Place coated sticks on baking sheet.
- Lightly spray tops of fish sticks with cooking spray or olive oil.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden and cooked through, flipping halfway.
- Serve immediately with fresh lemon juice or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For storage, keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator. They can also be frozen for about 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes to maintain crispy texture.
