  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce Can substitute with tamari for gluten-free option.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped Used for garnish.

Preparation
  1. Wash and dice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until cooked through and slightly golden.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  4. Add the chopped green onions and mix for extra freshness.
  5. Plate your Easy Bourbon Chicken and serve with rice or a favorite side.
