  1. Gather all the ingredients and make sure your cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and softened cream cheese. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend until smooth.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, lime juice, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Add salt and pepper according to your preference, and give it one last good mix.
  5. For enhanced flavors, cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving, although it is also great right away.
  6. Place the dip in a bowl surrounded by chips or veggies, and enjoy the smiles that come with each delicious bite!

Notes

Customize your dip by adding diced jalapeƱos for a spicy kick or avoid overmixing to keep some chunks for texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for a month.
