  • 1 medium onion (sliced) Provides aromatic sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For sautéing the beef.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season as desired.
  • for garnish chopped green onions (optional) Adds freshness on top.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by slicing the beef into thin strips and slicing the onion. This will ensure even cooking and make your dish come together quickly.
Cooking the Noodles
  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Beef
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the sliced beef. Season with salt and pepper and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until it’s browned and cooked through.
Adding Aromatics
  1. Toss in the sliced onion and minced garlic. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Pour in the beef broth and soy sauce, stirring to combine. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, mixing everything together thoroughly.
Simmering
  1. Let the mixture simmer for about 2-3 more minutes so the flavors meld and the sauce thickens slightly.
Serving
  1. Transfer to serving bowls, garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and enjoy your Easy Beef and Noodles!

Notes

For substitutions, try using chicken breast or turkey instead of beef. Ensure they are halal-friendly options. When reheating, add a splash of beef broth to keep the noodles from overheating and drying out.
