- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed pineapple (with juice), yellow cake mix, and eggs. If desired, add the shredded coconut. Mix until smooth and fully blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing into squares.
