Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (approximately 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Can substitute with whole grain or spicy mustard.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with maple syrup for a unique twist.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • as needed Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Place your salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and generously brush the glaze over each fillet.
Baking
  1. Pop the baking sheet into the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for perfectly cooked salmon.
Serving
  1. Once baked, bring the salmon out and let it rest for a minute. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen in individual portions for up to two months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) covered with foil.
