  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Bring to room temperature.
  • 4 large eggs Use room temperature.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk Use room temperature.
Topping
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar Mix of sugar and cinnamon.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan to prevent sticking.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add in the dry ingredient mixture and mix until combined.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add in the milk and mix until the batter is smooth and well-combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and spread it evenly.
  2. Bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
  4. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon sugar for the perfect finishing touch.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a smooth batter. Don’t overmix to avoid a dense cake. Experiment with flavor by adding nutmeg or chopped nuts.
