Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Arrange the halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon, mixing well.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture generously over each peach half.
- Top each peach half with about half a tablespoon of butter.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and the sugar is bubbling.
- Allow to cool slightly and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds or re-bake for 10 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
