Ingredients

Burger Mixture
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or leaner for healthier options)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Buns and Toppings
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheese (your choice)
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and condiments For topping

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties about ¾ inch thick. Make a small indent in the center of each patty to help prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the patties in the fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch each other. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking.
  3. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add cheese on top of each patty and close the fryer to let it melt.
  4. If you like your buns toasted, you can place them in the air fryer for the last minute to warm them up.
Assembly
  1. Serve your delicious burgers on buns topped with your favorite ingredients!

Notes

For the best results, avoid overmixing the meat, experiment with flavors, and use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
