Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by scrubbing the russet potatoes under running water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a towel.
  2. Using a fork, poke several holes around each potato to allow steam to escape.
  3. Rub each potato with olive oil (or melted butter) and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
  3. Cook the potatoes for about 35 to 40 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
Serving
  1. Carefully remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes.
  2. Slice them open, fluffing with a fork, and top with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes. Can be frozen for 2-3 months.
