Method
 

Preparation of Base
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers with the melted butter until well combined.
  3. Press this mixture firmly into an 8×8-inch baking dish to form an even layer.
Making the Chocolate Layer
  1. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate over low heat, stirring continuously for a smooth consistency.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate over the graham cracker base, spreading it evenly.
Preparing the Caramel
  1. In another small saucepan, combine the caramel candies and heavy cream.
  2. Heat gently until the caramel is smooth and melted.
  3. Pour the caramel sauce over the chocolate layer while it's still warm, ensuring an even distribution.
Adding Crunch and Chilling
  1. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the caramel layer.
  2. Allow the bars to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before refrigerating for at least 2 hours to set.
