Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- After peeling the sweet potatoes, dice them into evenly sized cubes—about 1 inch each.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the diced sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional spices you choose to add. Make sure they are evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned sweet potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Serving
- Once they’re golden brown, remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
To achieve perfect crispy sweet potatoes: cut them uniformly, don't overcrowd the baking sheet, and feel free to experiment with spices!
