  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Garnishes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to achieve a crispy texture. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the honey, butter, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Mix until it forms a smooth sauce.
Cooking the Salmon
  1. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the skin is crisp. Flip carefully.
  2. Pour the honey garlic butter sauce over the salmon fillets. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, spooning sauce over the fillets as they cook.
Serving
  1. Once the salmon is cooked through and has caramelized edges, remove from heat. Serve immediately with fresh parsley and lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Substitutions: Use maple syrup instead of honey for a different flavor. Be cautious not to overcrowd the pan for optimal crispiness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
