Preparation
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to achieve a crispy texture. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Making the Sauce
- In a medium bowl, combine the honey, butter, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Mix until it forms a smooth sauce.
Cooking the Salmon
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the skin is crisp. Flip carefully.
- Pour the honey garlic butter sauce over the salmon fillets. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, spooning sauce over the fillets as they cook.
Serving
- Once the salmon is cooked through and has caramelized edges, remove from heat. Serve immediately with fresh parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Substitutions: Use maple syrup instead of honey for a different flavor. Be cautious not to overcrowd the pan for optimal crispiness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
