Preparation
- Begin by cleaning your chicken wings under cold running water. Pat them dry using paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine the wings with 2 tablespoons of lemon pepper seasoning, a sprinkle of salt, and black pepper to taste.
- Allow the wings to marinate in the seasoning for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in an air fryer basket.
Cooking
- Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the wings are crispy and golden brown, turning halfway through.
- While the wings are baking, mix 1/4 cup of melted butter and 1/4 cup of lemon juice in a bowl. Add any additional spices you like.
- Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to the bowl with the lemon butter sauce. Toss them well until they are fully coated.
Serving
- Plate the wings and garnish with additional lemon pepper seasoning if desired. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For perfect crispiness, consider using a baking rack. If using an air fryer, adjust the cooking time to about 25-30 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to four days, or freeze for up to three months.
