Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Optional: additional spices for flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by cleaning your chicken wings under cold running water. Pat them dry using paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the wings with 2 tablespoons of lemon pepper seasoning, a sprinkle of salt, and black pepper to taste.
  3. Allow the wings to marinate in the seasoning for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in an air fryer basket.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the wings are crispy and golden brown, turning halfway through.
  2. While the wings are baking, mix 1/4 cup of melted butter and 1/4 cup of lemon juice in a bowl. Add any additional spices you like.
  3. Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to the bowl with the lemon butter sauce. Toss them well until they are fully coated.
Serving
  1. Plate the wings and garnish with additional lemon pepper seasoning if desired. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For perfect crispiness, consider using a baking rack. If using an air fryer, adjust the cooking time to about 25-30 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to four days, or freeze for up to three months.
