Method
Preparation
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the salmon pieces in the flour mixture until fully coated.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the coated salmon bites to the skillet in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- While the salmon is cooking, prepare the honey garlic sauce. In a saucepan over low heat, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Stir until combined and heated, about 2-3 minutes.
- Once the salmon bites are done, drizzle the honey garlic sauce over the top and toss to coat.
Serving
- Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
For storing, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes or in the air fryer for 3-5 minutes. For longer storage, freeze uncooked salmon bites for up to 3 months and cook straight from frozen.
