Preparation
- If using fresh broccoli, wash it thoroughly and cut it into bite-sized florets. If you’re using frozen, make sure to thaw and drain excess water.
- In a large bowl, mix the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. If using parmesan cheese, sprinkle it in at this stage as well. Toss to ensure the florets are evenly coated.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the seasoned broccoli in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
- Air fry for about 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on them to achieve perfect crispiness.
Serving
- Once golden and crispy, remove from the air fryer and drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For dairy-free options, skip the parmesan or use a dairy-free cheese alternative. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, it's best to do so before air frying. To reheat, air fry for a few minutes or use the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes.
