Ingredients

For the Cheese Bites
  • 2 cups Cheese Cubes (Mozzarella or Cheddar), cut into bite-sized pieces Mix different cheeses like Monterey Jack or Pepper Jack for extra flavor.
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko breadcrumbs work best)
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Oil (Vegetable or Olive) for frying

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting your cheese into bite-sized cubes, about 1 inch thick.
  2. Create a three-step breading station: one bowl with flour combined with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, another with the beaten eggs, and the last with breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat each cheese cube in the flour mixture, dip in the egg mixture, and roll in breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. In a deep frying pan, heat about 2 inches of oil over medium heat.
  2. Carefully add the breaded cheese cubes to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove the cheese bites and let them drain on paper towels.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Allow fried cheese bites to drain completely before serving to keep them crunchy. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in an oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
