Preparation
- Wash and peel the potatoes (if desired). Cut them into bite-sized pieces, ensuring they’re uniform to cook evenly.
- For extra crispiness, soak the diced potatoes in water for about 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch.
- After soaking, drain and pat the potatoes dry with a towel to remove any moisture.
Cooking
- In a large bowl, toss the dried potato pieces with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until fully coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
Serving
- When golden and crispy, remove them from the air fryer, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
Don't overcrowd the air fryer for the best results. Feel free to experiment with different seasonings, and test for crispiness by cooking 2-3 minutes more if desired.
