Preparation
- If using store-bought gnocchi, there's no need for pre-cooking! Just open the package and set aside. If you're feeling adventurous and have homemade gnocchi, make sure they are cut and shaped.
- In a bowl, toss the gnocchi with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you desire. Mix gently until all pieces are evenly coated.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned gnocchi into the air fryer basket in one even layer, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches depending on your air fryer’s size.
- Air fry the gnocchi for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even crisping.
- Once golden and crispy, remove from the basket, top with your favorite garnishes, and serve hot!
Notes
Leftover crispy gnocchi can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes. Can also freeze cooked gnocchi for up to a month; thaw before reheating.
