Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 oz macaroni pasta Cook according to package instructions.
Cheesy Sauce
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded Reserve some for topping.
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For topping.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Topping
  • breadcrumbs For a crispy top.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a separate saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream cheese, milk, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, stirring continuously until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the cheesy mixture for flavor enhancement.
Mixing and Baking
  1. Toss the drained macaroni into the cheesy mixture until well coated.
  2. Transfer the mac and cheese to a serving dish or baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and Parmesan on top. Add breadcrumbs if desired.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned on top.

Notes
