  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Make sure your shrimp are peeled and deveined.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté it for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
Cooking
  1. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and are opaque.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Then slowly stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  3. Adjust the seasoning to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Serving

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat.
