  • 3 tablespoons butter Melt in a skillet.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Adjust thickness by simmering longer if desired.
  • to taste Salt Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste Pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional) For added flavor.
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped Add at serving.

Preparation
  1. Start by rinsing your shrimp under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until shimmering and fragrant.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently. Allow the mixture to simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Taste and adjust the seasonings by adding more salt, pepper, or Italian seasoning if desired.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot over pasta, rice, or alongside your favorite dishes.

Notes

For variations, consider adding vegetables such as spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms for more variety. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheated gently on the stove.
