Preparation
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the seasoned chicken breasts.
- Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium, and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously, and let it gently simmer.
- Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted into a creamy sauce.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce, and let everything simmer together for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
Notes
Cool leftovers to room temperature before storing in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge, or freeze for 2-3 months. Reheat over low heat with a splash of cream or water.
