Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz Pasta (your choice: penne, fusilli, or any favorite type)
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken (diced, rotisserie is great) Rotisserie chicken can save time.
  • 4 strips Bacon (cooked and crumbled; you can also use turkey bacon for a lighter version) Crisp for the best texture.
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Substitute with half and half or Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) You can use your favorite cheese.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • to garnish Fresh Chives or Parsley Adds freshness and color to the dish.

Method

Cooking
  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook your pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. If using rotisserie chicken, shred it into bite-sized pieces. If cooking from scratch, season and cook until golden brown before dicing.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in the ranch dressing mix and bring it to a simmer.
  4. Add the cooked chicken and crumbled bacon to the skillet, followed by the cooked pasta. Stir everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle in the shredded cheese while stirring, allowing it to melt into the creamy mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Plate your pasta, garnishing with fresh chives or parsley if desired. Serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

For the best flavor, consider pairing with garlic bread or a fresh garden salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
