Main ingredients
  • 2 cups tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Method

Cooking the Pasta
  1. In a pot of salted boiling water, add tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
Making the Sauce
  1. Once the beef is browned, add minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
  2. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.
  3. Gradually stir in grated Parmesan until melted and incorporated into the sauce.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, and toss gently until the pasta is well-coated with the creamy sauce.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper if needed.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your delicious meal!
