Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Ensure butter is at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

Preparation
  1. Ensure your butter is at room temperature for easy blending. You want it creamy and smooth, not melted.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the softened unsalted butter. Using an electric mixer or a good old-fashioned whisk, beat the butter until it’s fluffy and smooth.
  3. Slowly mix in the honey, beating until well combined.
  4. Gradually add in the cranberry sauce while mixing.
  5. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and salt, and beat everything together until combined.
  6. Give it a taste to adjust the sweetness or tartness to your preference.
  7. Transfer the cranberry honey butter to a serving dish or an airtight container. Serve immediately or chill in the fridge.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, use coconut oil instead of butter. Let the butter soften at room temperature for best results and avoid overmixing the cranberry sauce for texture.
